love you always...

I have seen a lot of the new PTI Wet Paint out there, so I am guessing you like this set as much as me!  I have another card to share.  I created this one for the release and then somehow forgot about it.

Super CAS card here.  I took the new Polka Dot Basics III and stamped one line of Berry Sorbet polkas in the background.  I added in the sentiment from Wet Paint and then stamped the heart that comes in the set, right on top of one of the polkas.

I added in some Glossy Accents to give the heart a little shine.  In real life, the heart is the same color as the polka dots.  Not sure why I am getting a hot pink heart in the photo....

Hope you are all having a great Sunday!  It is super  quiet around here.  My kids are playing with their cousins and I am getting absolutely nothing done.  And of course, I have tons to do.  So I am going to sign off here and try to go make it look like I have been productive.  Shhh!  Don't tell anyone!

Celebrate!

Hey there!  Hope you are having a great day so far.  It  is SOO nice out today, we have spent most of the day in town running errands and getting things done in the yard.  I am finally in here to post my card for today's Retro Sketch.  Today's sketch is from a adorable Kasia original, which you can see HERE.    Here is my retake...

IMG_1507

I used 2 different embossing folders in the background and layered it with the leaf die from Simon Says Stamp.  I added in a stitched rectangle in vellum from Lil Inkers and then topped it off with a banner from Reverse Confetti.  The sentiment comes from Perfect Love, also from Simon Says stamp.  I used Delicata Silvery Shimmer for the sentiment.  Its hard to see the shimmer in the photo, but that silver ink is awesome!   I made this for an upcoming wedding and I can't wait to hang it on the front of a bag!

Here is this week's sketch....

Stop over to the Retro Sketches blog to see what Kasia and Arielle have made up for today.   Make something up using this sketch and stop over and link up your creation too!

Hope you have a great weekend!  :)

hello and a gift bag!

Stopping in with a card and a gift bag today.  First off my card...

IMG_1493

So I am still trying out this whole misting thing.  I used some Memento Markers, a Studio Calico stencil and a Tim Holtz Spritzer.  (All linked below)

I popped up this Small Hello die from Simon Says on to a Simon Says banner.  I cut the end off and tucked it around the inside of the bag.  I used Glossy Accents to attach everything together so it was nice and tight.

Here are the goodies I was playing with today...

I love how this thing works.  You can come farther off the paper for more spray or even closer for a darker burst of ink.

So I wanted to make this card into a bag for a friend, so I thought I would share some pics and a quick video on just how easy it was to make....and quick!  Keep scrolling...

somewhere over the rainbow...

The title really doesn't have anything to do with the post.  Other than, I did make a rainbow on my card...

IMG_1482

I stacked up a rainbow and then adhered it all together.  I used this fun new "HELLO" from the new Stripe Greetings from Simon Says.  This set is ADORABLE.  A must have.  There are so many fun sentiments included!

IMG_1485

You can see some of the stack here.  It made for a thicker card but I thought the edge was kinda fun...

It's pretty quiet in this house right now.  The kids are at school.  I would usually use this time to craft, but today I am thinking, it would be a good movie afternoon.  I don't get those very often.  So that is where I am headed.  :)  I recorded Dirty Dancing yesterday from Starz.  Sounds like a plan to me!  :)

Hope your Monday is off to a good start!  Thanks for coming by today!

Love.

Happy Saturday!  I am sitting here ready to go to the gym this morning and I thought I would quickly type up my post.  We have limited treadmills....and there are 2 of us.  We have to get treadmills by each other.  It makes so it so much easier to have a buddy because then she can see if I walk a half a mile...or 3.  :)  Plus, today I am going to attempt running sprints with her.  Her sprints are 8 miles an hour...mine?  Not so much.  But hey, I am going to attempt running so I am automatically a winner.  Right?  :)

Ok so on to today's card.  It's time for another Retro Sketch.  This one is brought to you by the lovely Arielle.  You can see her original card HERE.  SO cute!

IMG_1463

I used a large rectangle die from Lil Inkers to make the card frame.  Then I added a piece of embossed soft stone gray card stock behind.  I added in a heart and a sentiment and done!

IMG_1464

Oh and I had to give it a little more so I added in a twine bow!

Here is this week's sketch...

Stop over to the Retro Sketches blog and see what Arielle and Kasia have for us today!
