Thank you...

Just playing around with press n seal again over here.  Seriously?  I love how quick it makes this process.  I am all about quick and simple.  If you haven't see the Make it Monday video, click HERE to check it out.

So first, I took some Soft Pool Hero Arts ink and added a little color to the background.  I used the Mighty Bloom cover plate and press in seal to get the next layer.  I added in some thread and a piece of Berry Sorbet striped paper and then stapled a vellum banner sentiment to finish the card.  The sentiment is from Fancy That.  SUCH a fun new set from PTI.

Hope you are all having a great day!  It's rainy here so we are taking advantage of some indoor crafting time today.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

RC August Color Challenge...

I have a quick and simple card for this month's color challenge over at Reverse Confetti.  The colors? Red, Blue and Gold.  Fun, right?

I stamped So Striped along the bottom in navy blue.  I added in the polka dot apple, from Class Act,  up on foam tape, after laying down a strip of gold card stock.  I stamped the sentiment in gold as well.  Easy peasy and perfect timing for school!  :)

Here are the products I used...

Stop over to the Reverse Confetti blog for more details on how you can play along this month!

Have a great day!

Time after time Challenge...

Welcome to the Time after time challenge!  Our challenge was to remake an old project from the past.  I dug deep....way back!

I have officially been blogging for 7 years and 2 months.  I know that because I went back and dug up this little gem....

I am a tad embarrassed to share this, mostly because its quite bad.  And also?  Because it says "oh pig poop".  Wow.  This was a farm fresh card gone wrong.  I must have loved it at the time tho....oy.

So today, I am remaking the farm fresh card gone wrong, using some newer stamps in my current CAS style....

I don't own this set and dies just's on its way to me now, but I was SO lucky to meet Danielle this last week and stamp with her.  She was so nice to let me borrow her On the Farm set, to recreate this card.

I stamped the checkered border in Pure Poppy to make the background piece.  Then I stamped the sun rays in Harvest Gold with a top edge in Summer Sunrise.  I stamped the lower panel in Simply Chartreuse and then cut out around the hills, so I could pop this up for some dimension.  I die cut and stamped the cow and then added in a sentiment.

I think I like this round better!  :)  My style has most definitely changed over the years and it really is fun to go back and see where I started.  Even if the card does say pig poop on it.  Ha!

I can't wait to see what the other girls remake today!  Here are their blog links so you can check them out too!
